D-link made the announcement by email to all impacted subscribers.

As D-Link continues to refocus on developing products and solutions that provide our customers the most value and highest security, we are announcing the End of Service for the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Monitor Apps and Cloud Services on December 30, 2022.

 

A full list of affected devices is listed below:

mydlink Home:

DCS-935LH, DCS-8200LH, DCS-5025L, DSP-W110, DSP-W215, DCH-S150, DCH-S160, DCH-G020, DCH-G020X, DCH-Z110, DCH-S220, DCH-Z120, DCH-Z310

DCS-935L and DCS-5010L support will be discontinued on the mydlink Home app, but mydlink Lite/mydlink+ app users will not be affected.

DCH-Z510 support will be discontinued on the mydlink Home app, but mydlink app users will not be affected.


mydlink Baby Cameras:

DCS-700L, DCS-800L, DCS-820L, DCS-825L , DCS-850L, DCS-855L


What this means for you:

• End of Sales and Support – Already Passed
All products affected by this announcement have been discontinued and have passed end-of-sale and end-of-support periods. We are aware of the possibility where discontinued products have been sold in error. If you have purchased your affected product within the last year, please reach out to us here.
 
• End of App Updates, and Removal from App Stores  
As of this announcement, no additional features are planned for the affected mobile apps, however apps will still be available for download in the Apple App store and Google Play store until the End of Service Date when they will be removed from mobile app stores completely. Users are still encouraged to update to the latest versions available on their respective app stores so that their app has the latest security enhancements and promotions.
 
• End of Services - December 30, 2022
On December 30, 2022 CST (GMT+8), we will shut down the cloud services for the affected products. Users of the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Monitor Apps will no longer be able to sign in via these apps, and all services - including, but not limited to remote viewing, management and setup – will be discontinued for products associated with the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Monitor Apps and Cloud Services.

Q: When will the mydlink cloud services for mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Camera Monitor apps be shut down?

On December 30, 2022 CST (GMT+8), we will shut down all cloud services for products associated with the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Camera Monitor apps. Both apps will be removed from the Google Play and Apple App store.  After the service termination, users will no longer be able to sign in via these apps and the mydlink portal. All services (including, but not limited to remote viewing, management, and setup) will be discontinued.


Q: Can I still log in to the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Camera Monitor apps after the services are terminated?

Q: Why aren’t the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Camera Monitor apps available for download from Google Play and App Store?

Q: Can I manage my devices with the mydlink app?

No, you cannot manage the devices with any D-Link apps after the End of Service date.  Access to the devices via the mydlink cloud will be denied.


Q: Will my D-Link account still be valid after the End of Service date?

Yes, your account remains valid, and you can still sign in to a compatible app with your account to manage your other mydlink device if you have one.  However, starting from December 30, 2022, you will no longer be able to signin to the mydlink Home and mydlink Baby Camera apps.

  D-Link has announced End of Service on December 30, 2022 , for a variety of devices (DCS-935LH, DCS-8200LH, DCS-5025L, DSP-W110, DSP-W215, DCH-S150, DCH-S160, DCH-G020, DCH-G020X, DCH-Z110, DCH-S220, DCH-Z120, DCH-Z310, DCS-935L and DCS-5010L) I have three products form the above list: 2 x  DSP-W215 and 1 x  DCH-S15. All three were fully functional when D-link took the decision to stop the cloud service through I was operating them. I want to bring them to a new life. I don't know how many devices were sold worldwide by D-link, how many were still in use when they were discontinued the service, but I hope I'm not alone in this situation. I'm confident that with help of other people information, knowledge and skills we'll find a way to reuse this good hardware and I think expensive for some of us. Please post in comments any useful information that can help us. Thank you!
